Description

One order contains four one pound packs of Hickory Smoked Country Bacon from our smokehouse and plant in Madisonville, TN.

This bacon is dry cured by hand with salt, brown sugar, and black pepper. After about three weeks curing and drying in refrigeration, it is thoroughly smoked in our wood stove smokehouse for two to three days continuously. Finally, it is packed by hand, mere feet from the smokehouse, and boxed to ship.

As it is dry-cured, smoked, and vacuum sealed, it is a very flavorful and shelf stable product that ships unrefrigerated to all US destinations, all year round. We hope you enjoy it!

Reviewer: James Lee from Ormond Beach FL
I just finished my first four pounds of Hickory Smoked Contry Bacon, it is absolutely the best bacon ever. When it is cooking my entire house smells amazing! I am placing another order for four more pounds right now.

5 of 5 Bentons, the king of belly bacon! January 27, 2026
Reviewer: Pogo McAllister from North Georgia
I either stop by Mr Bentons place of business or I order each year several pounds of bacon,  I love the deep, deep, deep, hickory smoke flavor and aroma in almost all of my cooking. All good Southerners and more than one NYC high falutin Chefs use it mainly for the bacon grease for flavoring. It is such a concentrated bacon flavor, much more intense than any store bought bacon, that I can cook healthily and still have my bacon essence in my food. I use EVOO in almost all of my cooking because I can add just a quarter to a half teaspoon of my Benton Bacon Grease along with the healthy fat and it's A much healthier, better tasting meal.
I put my bacon a pound at a time in the oven at 300 degrees and I bake it until all of the fat has been rendered, I then drain the fat off into my mason jar, put a lid on it and keep in the fridge.

Reviewer: Susan from Beaumont, TX
For the past 4 or 5 years now I have ordered Benton's Bacon for my husband for Valentine's Day, which brings me here today!  Living in SETX I cook lots of pots of beans and things, so this year I've included in my order a package of bacon ends and a package of the sliced ham hocks.  Man-oh-man I cannot wait for this shipment!  I

5 of 5 Bacon and Ham December 9, 2025
Reviewer: The Kramers from New Cumberland, PA
Placed 2 orders for bacon after seeing the Guy Fieri family travel show couple years ago.   Today we were in Gatlinburg for vacation and made the drive to Benton's.   Picked up another 10 lbs of bacon and they cut up a ham on property while we waited.   All the bacon has been great and can't wait to try the ham slices when we get home.   Thanks again for deboning and cutting the ham slices.    The ham bone and trimmings will make for some great ham and bean soup!

5 of 5 BACON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! December 4, 2025
Reviewer: Dana from Idaho
Second Order on the way!!!!!! I see some Idaho people here also! My Wife likes it crispy so we skip cooking intruction. In the oven on a foil lined cookie sheet at 350. Keep turning then over maybe every 15 min. and every 5 min. near the end and desired crispness. Cooks fast near the end so don't overcook unless you want bacon bits or jerky!
