Bentons people are good people! June 12, 2023 Reviewer: Joel Spencer from Garden Grove, CA United States   Had an issue with shipping. Some how UPS delivered it to an address that doesn't exist. Simply Amazing! June 1, 2023 Reviewer: Thomas Judd from Lewisville, TX United States   I honestly don't know how 'ANYONE' could ever give this stuff a bad rating. This is the real deal and much better than anything that you will ever find in your local grocery store! My wife is very sensitive to the taste of salt and she doesn't even notice it in this product. On the flip side of the coin, I have a young niece who refuses to eat REAL bacon, such as this, because pigs are killed to make real bacon. She doesn't like that and will only eat the bacon made at the grocery stores! Hmm... "Thank you public school system!" Personally, I'll be ordering more of this stuff! Definitely 5 Stars!! March 14, 2023 Reviewer: Big Pete from 'merica!   This bacon is some of the best I've ever experienced!  Yes, it's salty, but the flavor and smell are unequal to any other bacons!  Cook up and eat as is or eat it alongside some eggs and grits! Was this review helpful to you?

Best Bacon Ever February 15, 2023 Reviewer: Jayna Rossi from ROANOKE, VA United States   I just saw a one star review and had to stop what I was doing and write my own. I don't even understand that review. There is nothing chemical or acidic about Benton's bacon. It IS VERY salty and I have seen other reviews state to put in the freezer if you think it's too salty. I am normally a cripsy bacon fan, but I have found this bacon hits the sweet spot just slightly under crispy.  The flavor is just magical. I have been giving this bacon as a gift to family members.  This bacon is gold. I can't go back to grocery store bacon. Was this review helpful to you?

Salty when it came then I let it sit in my freezer November 27, 2022 Reviewer: Lauren from Harper Woods, MI   I saw the other review of how wildly salty this bacon was, and I would have agreed with that reviewer entirely. The bacon had been hyped up to me by a friend so I was really disappointed. I bought a four pack so the other three went in my chest freezer for almost a year. I decided to get it out to use for Thanksgiving (thinking I wouldn't need much salt in my potatoes) and found the salt had entirely mellowed. The bacon now tasted like it was fresh off a campfire. It's incredible. My father in law nibbled some and said it was unlike anything he'd ever had. I shared my story with a friend who said the salt had: "Bound with meat proteins to denature/cure them, leaving less free soluble sodium for taste buds." Well there you are. Long time customer and...... November 6, 2022 Reviewer: Bill from Spokanistan, WA United States   Life long customer! I can't even imagine eating any other bacon besides Benton's now. Just ordered another 40 lbs. for the deep freeze. Even with the shipping charge it's still cheaper than most bacon in my local grocery stores. A big Thank You to Allan and his crew! Arrived today. Cooked some right away October 31, 2022 Reviewer: John Woodham from Eufaula, AL United States   Oh man it immediately took me back to my grandmother's smokehouse. The auroma of smoke right from the package. It was a if I was a child again. I cooked some immediately. It was wonderful. Reminded me of days long ago and breakfast at my grandmother's and great grandmother's house. Early mornings when we would go to the smokehouse for bacon. Hog killing time. Thank you for all those memories. The bacon was delicious, the real thing. Loved every bite. Note:My wife was very concerned bc it arrived warm. I laughed and explained to her why that was ok.
