Bacon, Ham Slices Sunday, September 20, 2026 Reviewer: Evelyn from Brooklyn, NY   Haven't had this type Ham since I was a little girl visiting my grandma in South Carolina. Just purchased in Aug 2026 & ready to order again, lol. Got the bacon and 2 packs of ham slices. Delicious even though I find it a little salty for me. I don't consume much salt, personal preference not health related. So I soak bacon in cold water for about 10 mins - releases most  salt but retains smoke flavor; same for ham slices. Much better than anything u can get in supermarket!! Found out about Bentons on Cooking Channel & certainly not sorry I did! Was this review helpful to you?

Great Country Ham Saturday, May 3, 2025 Reviewer: Jim T from Ocala, FL   These hams are simply great. My uncle Joe Moorehead in Winchester, TN made hams like these, the old fashioned way. These are just like his, made slow and taste wonderful. I have ordered from Benton's multiple times and his products are always consistent and delightful. Was this review helpful to you?

Thank You Uncle Dal Friday, April 11, 2025 Reviewer: John Campbell from Denver, North Carolina   I discovered  Allan's unique hams many years ago over breakfast with my Uncle (my Dad's brother),  as I was eating the country ham on my plate (not Allan's).  He said:  "If you like country ham, there is a fellow just down the road that smokes them and is known by chefs worldwide for his abilities!" Thus starting my love affair after having Benton's Smoky Country Hams the next day at breakfast. ..... so much so, I just purchased a whole ham!  Trust me in saying the taste of his hams is outstanding and you will not regret spending the money to enjoy them!  Thank you Uncle Dal, and of course Allen Benton!!!
